The pilot is responsible for navigation and controlling the paraglider during the flight, while the passenger can simply enjoy the experience without needing any paragliding skills or experience. It’s a great way to discover paragliding and enjoy the sensations of flight safely. Tandem paragliding flights offer a spectacular view of the surrounding landscapes and provide a unique feeling of freedom and adrenaline.
Before the flight, you will attend a briefing given by the pilot, who will explain what to expect during the different stages of the flight (takeoff, flight, landing) and go over the safety instructions. Once ready, you will head to the takeoff area, where the pilot will prepare the wing and secure you to both themselves and the paraglider. Then, it’s time for takeoff: depending on the conditions, a small dynamic walk or a light run may be required. And now, you’re in the air! All that’s left to do is enjoy your flight, comfortably seated in your harness.
For takeoff, the pilot prepares the paraglider by carefully laying it out on the ground behind them, so the paraglider is ready to be inflated. Then, the pilot attaches the passenger to the paraglider and their own harness. For a tandem paragliding flight, you should equip yourself as if you were going on a mountain hike :
– a pair of well-fitted sneakers (no flip-flops or heels), closed sneakers work perfectly as well
– clothing suitable for the weather and flight conditions. When it’s very hot in the middle of summer, wearing minimal clothing is fine for short flights, but it’s essential to dress warmly for longer flights, as the higher you go, the faster the temperature drops. A good sweater and a windbreaker are perfect for this.

Yes, for safety reasons, the passenger’s weight should not exceed 90 kg before 12:00 PM and after 5:00 PM, and 110 kg during the afternoon time slots.
