Reservations can be made online on our website www.flysafeannecy.com, by phone, or by email.
- For reservations on our website, you can choose the date and time of your flight according to your preferences, taking into account age and weight restrictions. The total amount for the flight will be charged. You will receive an email with an invoice, as well as a second email containing all the important information, which we kindly ask you to read carefully.
- For reservations by phone or email, a deposit of €50 is required. We will then send an email with all the important information, which we kindly ask you to read carefully.
Cancellations – Rescheduling
2 scenarios regarding cancellations:
- Cancellation by you:
More than 15 days before the tandem: You will be refunded the full amount paid. If you wish to cancel because you’re no longer available, we can discuss and find a new date together.
Less than 15 days before the tandem: You will not be refunded the amount paid. Please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled flight time. We cannot wait for late passengers, so make sure to be on time. If you miss your flight due to lateness, no refund will be given.
Passengers who refuse to take off will also not be refunded.
- Cancellation by FLY SAFE Annecy:
FLY SAFE reserves the right to cancel a scheduled flight in case of bad weather or if safety conditions are not met. You will be informed, whenever possible, the day before or on the same morning of any changes by FLY SAFE. FLY SAFE will do its best to find a new time slot based on everyone’s availability.
Please note that photos taken during your baptism may be used for advertising purposes.
CONDITIONS GÉNÉRALES DE VENTE - STAGES SIV 2 OU 3 JOURS AVEC FLY SAFE AnnecyPRICES, REGISTRATION PROCEDURES, AND PAYMENT
The price (2025) is €230 per day per person, for a two- or three-day course.
Groups (organized by you – 8 people) can benefit from discounted rates: €215 per day per person.
For a group registration to be validated, the group must be organized by you, and all members must be registered 90 days prior to the start date of the course.
For individual registrations, they are done directly online on our website. After selecting the course of your choice, you will need to fill out an online questionnaire regarding your practice, equipment, etc. After completing the questionnaire, you will be required to pay a deposit of €100 by credit card. Finally, you will receive an email confirming your registration. The remaining balance will be due at the end of the course, payable only by check or cash.
Group registrations (organized by you) cannot be done online. You will need to contact us by email or phone. After receiving the completed questionnaires from each participant in the group, a single global deposit, defined based on the size of the group, will need to be paid by credit card or check. Finally, you will receive an email confirming the group’s registration. The remaining balance will be due at the end of the course, payable only by check or cash.
Course Schedule and Validation Conditions
You will have a meeting the day before in the late afternoon (mandatory attendance) at Camping le Polé, 1430 Rte du Bout du Lac, 74210 Lathuile.At the FLYSAFE tent. It is highly recommended to book your accommodation at the campsite for comfort and logistical convenience.
Student welcome and briefing: exploring and defining everyone’s expectations and needs. Checking each person’s equipment, especially the reserve parachute and its proper deployment. The necessary equipment for your safe progression above the lake will be provided (radios, earpieces, life vests).
During the flying days, after a theoretical explanation of the exercises, you will put them into practice over the water. Our starter will be present at takeoff to remind you of the different exercises and answer any questions you may have. Throughout your maneuvers, you will be guided using a radio/headset system: the instructor in the safety boat will be able to provide explanations and corrections throughout your flight over the lake. All your exercises during your flights will be filmed. Finally, your exercises will be reviewed in a daily video debriefing in the classroom by our instructor.
A maximum of 3 flights per day.
An average of 2 flights per day during the course to validate the stage.
Courses where only one flight is completed per day will be charged at €115 per day.
The days when flying is not possible will not be charged.
A maximum of 8 students per group.
A minimum of 4 students is required for the course to take place.
For the 3-day courses (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), you must be available on Friday (reserve day). As a reminder, reserve days are only used if an entire day is canceled due to weather conditions.
For the 2-day courses, there is no reserve day.
If a student’s technical and/or physical level is too low compared to the requirements needed to progress safely and confidently, we reserve the right to interrupt the course for the student in question. This interruption will not result in any refund or compensation. The same applies if the student’s equipment is not certified for paragliding, is outside the recommended weight range (PTV), or does not allow them to fly safely. As a reminder, the registration questionnaire is mandatory, it is binding, and must be filled out honestly.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation by the student:
In case of individual registration
– If the cancellation is made more than 30 days before the course date, €30 will be deducted from your deposit.
– If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the course start date, the full deposit will be retained (unless there is a valid reason with proof, such as illness, accident, death, or job loss).
In case of group registration
-> Cancellation of a single participant in the group:
– If a replacement is found by you, the deposit for the concerned student will be fully refunded.
– If the cancellation occurs more than two months before the course start date, €30 will be deducted from the deposit of the concerned student if no replacement is found by you.
– If the cancellation occurs less than two months before the course start date, and no replacement is found, the full deposit for the concerned student will be retained (unless there is a valid reason with proof, such as illness, accident, death, or job loss).
-> Cancellation of the entire group:
– If the cancellation occurs more than two months before the course start date, €30 per group member will be deducted from your deposit.
– If the cancellation occurs less than 60 days before the course start date, no refund can be provided.
Cancellation by FLY SAFE
In case of excessively unfavorable weather or if the minimum number of registered students (4) is not reached.
You have two options :
– the deposit can be reused for a future course at FLY SAFE.
OR
– the full deposit will be refunded.
